The West Hartford Scavenger Hunt will be held on Sunday, July 26.

Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to discover the best of West Hartford during the West Hartford Scavenger Hunt, a free, family-friendly community event on Sunday, July 26, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Participants will explore West Hartford by completing a bingo-style challenge featuring about a dozen local businesses and community landmarks throughout town. Along the way, they’ll discover hidden gems, learn interesting facts about West Hartford, complete fun challenges, and compete for prizes ranging from local business gift cards to awards for trivia, creativity, and social media participation.

The event begins with check-in at Blue Back Square, where participants can pick up their bingo card and event information anytime after 1 p.m. The event concludes with an awards ceremony at 3:30 p.m. in Blue Back Square.

The West Hartford Discovery Challenge is organized by volunteers from the campaign of Jillian Gilchrest for Congress, in partnership with local businesses, to celebrate the people, places, and neighborhoods that make West Hartford a vibrant community.

The event is free, but advance registration is encouraged.
