West Hartford Summer Arts Festival to Present ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’

In its 49th season, the West Hartford Summer Arts Festival is excited to return to the stage, live and in person, to present “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”
Performances will be held at Hall High School, 975 North Main Street, West Hartford, on July 24, 25, and 26 at 7 p.m., and July 27 at 1 p.m. This summer, the production features over 70 students in the cast and orchestra, including more than 40 West Hartford residents.

Founded in 1977, The West Hartford Summer Arts Festival (“SAF”) has been a venue for high school and college students from the Greater Hartford area to perform in high-caliber productions of some of Broadway’s most famous musicals. The program has since expanded to include both middle and elementary School students, in the SAF Jr. and SAF Mini programs. With opportunities for students ages 8-22, SAF prides itself on being a learning experience for those who are interested in various aspects of musical theater including acting, singing, dancing, orchestra, and technical theater.
