West Hartford Wedding: Joanna Timmons & Tyler Gualtieri - We-Ha

Joanna and Tyler have a special bond with Boston and Cape Cod, so it’s only natural that the Cape was the location for both the proposal and wedding. Tyler popped the question while he and Joanna strolled their seaport neighborhood, and to enhance that surprise, Tyler had organized an immediate engagement party with family members at a local restaurant.

The picture-perfect July 2017 wedding took place in magical Brewster, MA, on Cape Cod. Tyler’s grandparents are parishioners at Our Lady of the Cape.

The couple had a blast showing up for the reception at Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich Port, MA, via sailboat! The day unfolded to be the perfect combination of a nautical theme with a formal vibe.

The couple’s aptly-named rescue pup, Brewster, had a role in the wedding day, including that in lieu of favors a donation was made to the shelter from which he came. (See more of Brewster on Instagram: @BrewsterTheBeaglador). He was even included on the cake topper.

Boston-based band Kahootz provided music for dancing after dinner.

Joanna’s parents Joseph and Carolyn Timmons live in Norwell, MA. Tyler’s parents Michael and Sharon Gualtieri live in West Hartford, CT. Locals may know Michael as the President/Owner of ProCourier, and Sharon is the Co-founder of C&S Style, custom jewelry.

The couple honeymooned in Italy including sightseeing and beaches on the Amalfi coast in Capri, Positano, and Sorrento. Tyler is the director of business development at ProCourier Boston. Joanna is a school social worker at Newton North High School.
