The shops at 485 New Park look forward to the celebration of art during Hartford’s Open Studio weekend. The event takes place on Saturday, Nov. 12 and Sunday, Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will showcase various participants including area artists, businesses and food vendors as well as artisans of many differing genres and mediums.

Artists featured at the 485 New Park venue include Karen Israel (pastels), Christine Quallen (photography), and Paws That Draw (acrylic painting) to name a few.

As the holiday season approaches, visitors can kick-start their holiday shopping with the shops at 485 New Park’s unique blend of art, home décor, consignment shopping, framing, vintage finds, photography/photo printing, comic books, health & fitness options, and delicious confections to enjoy!

The current tenants are excited to welcome their new neighbors Old Crow Vintage, Mindfulness & Matters, as well as Friendly Neighborhood Comic Book Store.

The event promises something for everyone, so save the dates and be sure to make a pit-stop on your tour of Hartford & West Hartford’s creative road map.
