A Connecticut Party of West Hartford kicked off its Town Council and Board of Education campaign Tuesday night. A private event hosted by local residents was attended by over 70 fellow neighbors to learn about solutions and actionable ideas that ACP of West Hartford will bring to West Hartford.
Town Councilor Lee Gold addressed the group as he runs for re-election, “I feel A Connecticut Party of West Hartford will be an independent minded group, open to all ideas. It is important that we move forward with purpose, transparency, and urgency, collectively for a better future.” Lee Gold, Mark Merritt, Rick Bush, Roni Rodman, and Ross Jacobs look forward to hearing for the residents of West Hartford, ideas and solutions.
A Connecticut Party of West Hartford is a party that reflects fiscal conservative values and promotes dialogue on social issues. We will not beholden to the principals of the current political parties. Our community is diverse and engaged thus requires an alternative view on how we should approach governing. The current dynamics of our national and state political landscape needs a break from the political divide and have a party/voice that is based on moderate perspectives, respect for different views and creates unity and a rational alternative.
