Elevate WeHa is partnering with the Town of West Hartford and other groups for an event in the West Hartford Town Hall Auditorium on Sunday, Aug. 23. [Updated]

The community is invited to celebrate the end of summer and kick off the school year with music, art, and more at the second annual West Hartford Back to School Bash on Sunday, August 23, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Due to the potential for inclement weather, organizers have moved the 2026 West Hartford Back to School Bash indoors! The weather may be changing our location, but the fun is still ON!

Elevate WeHa, in partnership with the Town of West Hartford and some amazing community partners, will host an afternoon of fun, connection, and back-to-school excitement. At the event, 300 backpacks filled with essential supplies will be distributed to West Hartford families.

Whether you’re preparing for the first day of school or simply looking for a fun family event, there’s something for everyone!

Also, please be aware that Town Hall currently has a paving project happening so a portion of the lot is closed off. Please use the Raymond Road Entrance or park on Burr Street and walk to South Main to enter the building.
