‘Bare Bones’ is a unique opportunity to see the ‘before’ version of this year’s Junior League of Hartford Designer Show House, a Tudor at 51 Brookside Boulevard, West Hartford.

Be among the first to see the “Bare Bones” of the Junior League of Hartford’s 2022 Designer Show House, Friday, April 29 from 9-11 a.m. or 5-8 p.m.
Show House is the League’s largest event-based fundraiser, which raises much needed funding for multiple charitable programs and projects throughout the Greater Hartford area. Since its inception in 1979, the Show House has raised more than $1.6 million for charity.
Occurring every three years, the Show House entails the Junior League of Hartford taking over a unique home or estate in the Greater Hartford area, selecting local and regional designers to completely transform the home’s interior and exterior grounds, then opening the home upon completion for public tours. This year’s Show House will open June 3 for Opening Night, and public tours run from June 4-26, 2022.
Throughout the Show House season are a series of Special Events at the house.
The first special event is “Bare Bones,” a unique experience which allows for guests to see the Show House in its original state, before the designers begin designing their spaces.
“Bare Bones is a Show House tradition, and serves as a kick-off to the Show House season,” says Molly Towne, Show House co-chair. “It’s a casual event where the public can come and tour the house before the designers begin working on their spaces, and enjoy mingling with friends while enjoying complimentary food, drink and entertainment.”
The Bare Bones Morning event is Friday, April 29, from 9-11 a.m., featuring continental breakfast and coffee, $20
The Bare Bones Evening event, Friday, April 29, is from 5-8 p.m. Enjoy a tailgate themed, pep-rally, with complimentary food, drinks and entertainment, $35.
Bare Bones sponsors include: Bert’s Pizzeria, Luna Pizza, Dino’s Pizzeria, Disheveled Diva, Brewery Legitimus and Barn Door Blooms.
Tickets to Bare Bones can be purchased via Eventbrite or through the Junior League of Hartford website.
The Junior League of Hartford’s 2022 Show House is presented by Exclusive Media Partner, Connecticut Cottages & Gardens. Featuring Internationally acclaimed Interior Designer Anthony Baratta, the 2022 Show House is located at 51 Brookside Boulevard in West Hartford.
