The First Annual Tree-Riffic Tree Festival is coming to the museum and the public’s help is needed.

Go out on a limb and create the best dressed tree at the first annual Tree-Riffic Festival at The Children’s Museum. Join forces as a family or a business to design, build, decorate, draw, paint, or however you want to make the perfect tree that has some bark and some bite.

Trees can be no taller than 2.5 feet and no wider than 2 feet. Please do not use a real tree or any living material.

Be safe and have fun while you create your masterpiece. All trees can be brought to the museum between Nov. 29 and Dec. 14. You will be able to vote on the best tree in the family/individual and business categories when you visit the museum.

The Children’s Museum will also be collecting food and necessities (toiletries, socks, etc.) throughout the Festival to benefit The Town That Cares.

Enter to the contest to win a free membership or get your company’s name showcased in the museum. Votes will be taken up until Dec. 31 and the winners will be announced Jan. 3. Win a free membership for individual entries, trophies and sponsorship for businesses, and bragging rights!

The Tree-Riffic Festival is generously sponsored by CT Home Solutions.

Entry fee is $10 per tree, and all proceeds go to help the museum.
