Fries will be the inspiration for fun and fundraising at the West Hartford Mooyah on Monday, May 2, when the Big Idaho Potato Truck comes to town. The event will take place from 4 – 8 p.m.

“I think they must agree we have the best fresh hand-cut fries around!” said Elise Skrzyniarz from Mooyah.

This is the fifth annual cross country tour for the Big Idaho Potato Truck, and Skrzyniarz said that events will include fun activities for kids and families courtesy of the “Tater Team.” There will be free small hand-cut fries available with every purchase as well.

During the May 2 event, there will also be a fundraiser to benefit Hall High School’s Safe Grad party. “A Big Helping” – the charitable component of the Big Idaho Potato Truck Tour – has chosen Hall High Safe Grad as its local charitable organization. There will be a giant signature board posted near the truck, and “A Big Helping” will donate $1 to Hall for every signature on the board.

Mooyah will also be announcing the official launch of the new “Mooyah Punchh” rewards app during the May 2 event. Anyone who downloads the app on the App Store or Google Play will get a free burger just for signing up.
