Black Friday

The biggest shopping day of the year is here! Shop Blue Back Square for the hottest deals this holiday season.

Holiday Stroll

Thursday, Dec. 4, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

It’s a winter wonderland in West Hartford! Ride in a horse-drawn carriage around West Hartford; visit with Mr.
and Mrs. Claus; listen to carolers, local bands and children’s singing groups; witness our beautiful tree lighting
and much more!

4^th Annual Gingerbread Build

Thursday, Dec. 4 – Friday, Dec. 5, 4 – 8 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 6, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 7, 10 a.m. –1 p.m.

Business owners, community members, media personalities and sports organizations will form their own teams to
face off in a gingerbread house decorating competition on Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6 where
the winner will be announced on Sunday, Dec. 7. Every day, guests can bid in a silent auction and vote for
their favorite gingerbread house while kids can decorate their own gingerbread houses or participate in another
craft. The money raised will benefit Habitat for Humanity.

Blue Back Mitten Run Presented by United Healthcare

Sunday, Dec. 7, 10 a.m. – noon

On your mark, get set, go! Join our holiday 5K by donating new mittens, scarves and hats that will benefit The Town That Cares Fund. The kids run starts at 10 a.m. and the 5K starts at 10:30 a.m. Visit the Hartford Marathon Foundation’s sign up page to register.
