Dr. Elena-Lee Ritoli, who has owned a private orthodontic office in West Hartford for the past 25 years, also works with the Children’s Hospital on the Craniofacial Disorders Team.

A charitable foundation they created, #ChooseKindness, raises funds for care of children born with facial deformity.

One hundred percent of the funds donated support the foundation, and 100% of what will be raised at the Charitable County Fair, Aug. 4, at 36 Brace Rd. will be used to send a child or children from Connecticut to Faces Camp in Cloudland, GA, in 2022. Dr. Ritoli and CT Maxillofacial Associates will match all donations received.

The Charitable County Fair will run from 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

Faces Camp gives the opportunity for children with different facial differences to be with a group of peers, riding horses, climbing a rock wall; sharing a campfire, etc. Campers return home with life skills that foster courage, confidence and leadership.
