Conard Girls Soccer Begins Season with Decisive Win

West Hartford’s Conard High School girls soccer team began the 2024 season on the road with a win on Sept. 3.

The Conard girls soccer team began the season on the road, with a win, as the Red Wolves beat East Hartford 7-0.
Freshman Aubrey Corn scored the first two goals of the game and assisted on two other goals to jumpstart Conard’s attack.
The back line for Conard was led by Brooklyn Knowles, and Evelyn Black and Allie Rafeci combined for the shut out.
Conard also had goals Namaiha Heller (2), Courtney McPhee, Maddie Rogers, and Asha Camiso.
Conard will be at home for their next two games, hosting New Britain on Friday, Sept. 6 and Bloomfield on Monday, Sept. 9, at McKee Stadium. Both games begin at 3:45 p.m.
