Conard High School held its senior prom on Friday night, May 26, 2017, at The Riverview in Simsbury.
The rain stopped, the gray skies parted for a bit of sunshine, and the temperature warmed up just enough so that both the girls in their strappy dresses and guys in their blazers could be comfortable as prom-goers posed with dates, friends, and family at homes and parks throughout the area prior to heading off to the gala.
The tradition at Conard, as well as at Hall, is to dress more casually for senior prom than for junior prom. Most of the girls sported colorful short dresses, and many of the boys opted for preppy pastel and plaid – or even flowered – pants with blazers.
