On October 24th, at 7:00 pm, Conard High School is hosting its homecoming dance right at Conard. With a “Fall Ball” and dress-to-impress theme, students can enjoy a DJ, cornhole, photo opportunities, and autumn treats.

It will be a night full of dancing, fun activities, photo opportunities, and lots of laughs! Tickets are available for sale now and will continue to be until they are sold out.
Tickets are being sold during lunch waves in the Conard cafeteria. Only Conard students are allowed to attend.
This year, Conard High School is making some changes to the annual homecoming dance to attract more attendees. One of these changes includes a switch in venue.
In prior years, the homecoming dance was hosted at West Hartford’s Town Hall. Although last year’s venue was excellent, high ticket prices exceeded many students’ budgets. This financial and location barrier made the event feel disconnected from the school community, ultimately prompting the decision to change venues this year.
Conard’s homecoming is also much earlier in the year, falling in October instead of the usual mid-November date, which should also encourage students to attend.
Tickets are set at $20 for the week of Oct. 5 to Oct. 9, and will be going up to $30 starting Oct. 13 and will stay at that price until tickets are sold out.
While some students have expressed concern about the event being hosted at school, Conard’s cafeteria will be unrecognizable on the night of October 24th. With an entire decorating committee, the cafe will be transformed into a fall festivities wonderland.
Conard is encouraging students to go out to get dinner beforehand instead of an event provided meal, but are encouraged to come to homecoming at 7 p.m. for fun fall-themed treats!
Partnering with the Student Council, Conard’s Homecoming committee is very excited to see everyone there.
A note to Conard students: Get your tickets this week during lunch waves!
