‘Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age’ will be shown at Sedgwick Middle School in West Hartford on Feb. 11, followed by a Q&A.

The West Hartford Prevention Partnership, West Hartford Public Schools, and West Hartford Community of Concern will hold a free viewing of “Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age,” an insightful documentary that probes into the vulnerable corners of family life and depicts messy struggles and challenges families face with social media, video games, and academic pressures.
The target audience is parents of children who have phones or are considering getting their child a phone. Youth in fifth grade and up are invited to view the film. Complimentary child care for ages 4+ will be available.
Take aways include practical solutions and resources to empower families and help children thrive in today’s digital world. View the trailer here..
The screening will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at Sedgwick Middle School, 128 Sedgwick Road, West Hartford.
