The Foundation for West Hartford Public Schools invites the community to come and enjoy Toy Story 5 at its third annual free Movie Night this Nov. 13.
The event will be held at Morley School starting at 5:30 p.m. with free pizza from Joey’s Pizza, which along with Cipes Pediatric Dentistry is sponsoring the event. The film itself starts at 6. Because space is limited, guests are required to register in advance here, a link can also be found on the Foundation website at www.whps.org.
“It’s a giving back to the community night,” said Foundation President Jillian Feldman, as to why the organization puts on this event. “We strive to support education in our town through grants – but this is another fun way to give back and also get the word out about the Foundation to gain more supporters to help our schools.”
Thanks to its donors, the Foundation for West Hartford Public Schools has awarded more than $2 million to fund innovative projects in West Hartford Schools since it was founded 28 years ago. And it has pledged $100,000 to support a multitude of grants – like worm farming at Conard High School to a Day of Kindness at King Philip Middle School to bringing mythology to life at Morley and Whiting Lane Elementary Schools – throughout the district for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. To learn more about the Foundation or to make a donation, please visit www.fwhps.org. For questions about Movie Night, please contact [email protected].
