Friendship Circle is gearing up for a fun and awesome Glow-in-the Dark Havdallah Party, coming up on Dec. 3, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Hebrew High School of New England, West Hartford.

At Friendship Circle, we celebrate the different Jewish traditions and observe mitzvot together. The Havadalla ceremony is held every Saturday night after it is completely dark outside, to say farewell to the Shabbat. This week we will enjoy a variety of activities centered around this tradition and mitzvah.

This year’s theme for the Havdallah Service will be a Glow-in-the-Dark Party. We will be having glow-in-the-dark face paint, glow-in-the-dark cotton candy, as well as air hockey and a make your own Havdallah candle station.

The wonderful Havdalla service will be led by our in house rabbi, Rabbi Shaya. Following the Havdalla, brace yourself to be entertained by the amazing fire-juggling show. Come and join the friendship and fun of the Friendship Circle!

Friendship Circle is a non-profit organization that brings together children, teens and young adults with and without special needs for a wide range of educational and social programs in a Jewish environment.
