Government Administration and Elections Committee Tackles Big Legislative Agenda

Among the measures are multiple items that deal with election integrity and access to information.

Members of the Government Administration and Elections Committee met Thursday to consider a list of nearly 60 concepts that could be drafted into law during the legislative session in the weeks ahead.

The concepts ranged from the whimsical, such as proposals to designate new state insects, to life and death issues such as implementing the recommendations of a committee’s report on racial equity in public health.
