Approximately 60 West Hartford teens, representing five West Hartford Catholic churches, will gather on Saturday morning at St. Helena Church in West Hartford to package nutritional meals for the underprivileged in third world countries.

The outreach event will benefit Kids Against Hunger, a National Organization working to alleviate hunger worldwide. It will be held from 9-10 a.m., at St. Helena Church, One Echo Lane, and is being sponsored by West Hartford Parish Outreach.

Last year this group packaged more than 20,000 meals, the largest packaging by any Connecticut regional group to date.
