Congratulations to Jessica Leone and Michael Parillo!

Jessica Leone and Michael Parillo first met at a Dave Matthews concert in 2007, but they didn’t start dating until their paths crossed again in West Hartford Center three years later.

Jessica grew up in West Hartford, and her parents Susan and James Leone still live in town. She graduated from Conard and Michael is from Saratoga Springs, NY. They both attended UConn, and have friends in common.

In April of 2014, two major events happened: 1) Jessica and Michael became engaged and, 2) they purchased their first home together in West Hartford – all in the same week!

The couple planned their ceremony at the West Hartford Universalist Church to include readings by friends and relatives. The Pond House Café was the one and only reception hall they considered. It was a perfect match for the 98-person guest list.

“It was a laid back, but intimate, beautiful wedding. The food was phenomenal,” the bride said.

Flowers were by Alison Haefele of Florition Floral Designs, West Hartford. The Ladies of Honor in the wedding party were Meghan Hall, Jamie Carlson, and Bridget Richard.

Aruba was the perfect destination for the couple’s relaxing honeymoon. The newleyweds spent a week unwinding by the beach and eating at the island’s amazing restaurants.
