To the Editor,
I want to say a big thank you to Greg Sommer and our town leaders. They decided to keep the bike lanes in the Webster Hill neighborhood. They also put in a new raised crosswalk at Carleton Road.
These changes make it much safer for our kids to get to school. It shows that the town is listening to parents who care about safety.
Yesterday, we had a big bike event. I’m sharing a photo of all the families and kids using the lanes. It was great to see everyone riding safely.
Thank you for making West Hartford a better place for our children to walk and bike.
Respectfully,
Richard D. McSorley III
West Hartford
