To the Editor:

I served on the Town Council with Leon Davidoff for many years. He impressed me right from the start. Leon was thoughtful, conscientious, considerate, collaborative and – above all – hard-working. His commonsense approach to all challenges, big and small, always helped move our town forward. Sometimes we did disagree, but Leon was never disagreeable.

Over the years, Leon and I also became friends. During some tough times in my own life, I could always count on his goodwill and support. I realized that Leon Davidoff’s integrity and deep commitment to public service are firmly rooted in his love of family and community. He honestly cares about people.

Today, Deputy Mayor Davidoff continues to provide the experience and leadership that our town needs – especially as a strong voice for fiscal responsibility and smart growth.

If you want a speech, ask a politician.  If you want to be heard and want something done, ask Leon.
