Dear Editor:

This is a letter of support for Kristyn Rosen-Jacobs as she is embarking on her journey to be elected to the West Hartford Board of Education this November 7 as a member of A Connecticut Party.

Since 2018, Kristyn has been a resident of West Hartford. She lives with her husband Ross and the blended family that they share with two children. Both children attend West Hartford Public Schools. Jack is a 6th grader and Arielle is in the 3rd grade.

Kristyn comes to this journey with extensive experience with almost two decades as an educator in the public education system both in New Jersey and Connecticut, as lead educator and curriculum developer. She is a fierce supporter of education as evidenced by her own credentials from the following universities: Fairfield University, New York University, and Central Connecticut State University.

For the past two years, Kristyn has embraced a new career with Capitol One Financial, incorporating her educational background in Human Resources and learning and development, assuming numerous leadership tasks within the institution. In Capitol One, Kristyn continues to expand her expertise with additional training where necessary.

Her civic experience has her as an appointed commissioner of the Human Rights Commission, supporting all facets of the broad tapestry of our West Hartford community,

Kristyn is a self starter with the will and the commitment to do what is right for all the students in the West Hartford Public Schools. This was exemplified by her strong commentary in the recent League of Women Voters Greater Hartford West Hartford Board of Education Candidate Forum on Oct. 16, 2023.

Please join me in voting for Kristyn Rosen-Jacobs of a Connecticut Party on Election Day to assure her commitment to the taxpayers and the children of West Hartford Public Schools.

Audrey Rosenfeld
West Hartford resident
