To the Editor:

I have known Tiffani McGinnis for about 10 years, and there’s no one I trust more to represent my family’s interests — or yours — at the state capital.

Recent polls have cost of living atop the concerns of Connecticut voters heading into next month’s election. A desire to make Connecticut more affordable is probably the biggest reason why Tiffani is running for State Representative in the 18th House District of West Hartford.

When Tiffani says she will fight on behalf of Connecticut families to reduce property tax burdens, lower energy costs, and expand access to affordable healthcare, it’s not empty campaign rhetoric. It’s a promise.

Someone who has been a single parent and worked hard to pay the bills, as Tiffani has, understands the challenges facing everyday people. That experience matters in public office. It offers perspective that can’t be learned from a textbook, and it’s helped make Tiffani an even better leader.

Tiffani is no one’s proxy. Her words and her positions on the vital issues facing our community and our state are her own. She is the real deal and she’s ready to get to work for us in the legislature.
