Lottery Process to Begin for West Hartford Public Schools Pre-K Programs

Applications will be available for West Hartford Public School’s 2020-2021 Pre-Kindergarten programs.

The lottery application for West Hartford Public Schools Pre-Kindergarten programs for the 2020-21 school year, located at Charter Oak International Academy, Florence E. Smith STEM School, and Webster Hill School will be available online beginning Jan. 9, 2020.

Applicants must reside in West Hartford and be 4 years old on or before Jan. 1, 2021 for programs at Charter Oak, Smith and Webster Hill.

Charter Oak is also accepting 3-year-olds who must be 3 on or before Jan. 1, 2021.

Enrollment will be grant based on a lottery system. Online applications will be available at ​www.whps.org​ or may be completed at the Town Hall Residency Office, Room 162, beginning Jan. 9, 2020.
