‘Master Builders’ Invited to LEGO-Themed Purim Celebration

The Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford invites the public to ‘build’ the city where the Purim story took place.

Come celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim at The Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford.

Harness your inner Emmet and build the city of Shushan using LEGO bricks. Shushan is the ancient city where the Purim story took place. The LEGO brick building program will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017, from 9 a.m.-noon, at The Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Dr. The event is free and open to the community, and suitable for all ages.

On Saturday, March 11, come hear the Megillah (the story of Purim) at 6 p.m. Festivities at 8 p.m. include face painting, balloon animals, bounce house, a Purim Café, photo booth and games. All are encouraged to come in costume.
