Now in its 18th year, The Mayor’s Charity Ball has been set for Saturday, May 13, 2017. Guests can expect an unforgettable evening out under the stars – and into the woods! – complete with drinks, dinner and entertainment.
Hosted for the first time by the Honorable Mayor Shari Cantor, the event’s proceeds are gifted to two West Hartford non-profit organizations: Playhouse on Park and The Town That Cares.
The night will begin in the West Hartford Town Auditorium at 6 p.m. with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction featuring gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses, unique events and services, vacations and more.
Guests will then make their way to the Grande Tent on the Town Hall Green for a sit-down dinner and wine provided by the notoriously talented chefs of Max Catering.
Dancing and a cash bar will follow, along with a live auction. Your emcees for the night are Sean Harris, Playhouse on Park’s co-artistic director, and Rich Hollman – two of the stars in the upcoming Playhouse production The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged).
Playhouse on Park’s very own stop/time dance theater will wow with a tantalizing performance, and following dinner there will be dancing under the stars to the music of Locomotion.
Seating for this amazing event is limited, and tickets are available at $200 each. Guests may also reserve a table of 10 – the more the merrier, of course – for $2,000. Tickets are available for purchase at www.TheMayorsCharityBall.org. For more information, please call 877-439-2929 or email [email protected].
