We-Ha.com is excited to introduce Cassidy Kotyla, who will be working as our editorial intern this summer!

Cassidy graduated with honors from Conard High School in 2015, and is so ambitious that she is already a rising junior at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, double-majoring in journalism and communications. She hopes to eventually pursue a career in public relations.

Cassidy’s background includes serving as editor-in-chief of UMass Amherst Odyssey Online – a content platform for millennials focused primarily on college students. In that role she edits the work of approximately 65 student writers and also handles Odyssey Online’s social media and outreach at UMass.

She also helps with graphic design operations and is involved with social media for the UMass Student Government Association. She formerly produced daily content on trends and opinions for the American Overlook website.

Cassidy has also found time to join Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity, and currently serves as the art chair.

Look for Cassidy’s byline on features and other stories beginning this week.
