Miracle League of Connecticut Welcomes 1,500 Trick-or-Treaters

Trick or Treat, Smiles and Community Spirit: Miracle League of Connecticut welcomes 1,500 at West Hartford site.

The Miracle League of Connecticut’s Trick or Treat event brought together 1,500 people, with nearly 40 local businesses, organizations and volunteer groups helping make the celebration on Oct. 24 possible.
“For families, events like this are a chance to have fun together and feel part of the community,” said Chris Montross, executive director of the Miracle League of Connecticut. “We’re grateful to everyone who helped make it a special day for the kids.”
Based in West Hartford, the organization’s mission is simple: Every child deserves a chance to play. Its baseball, adapted sports and family programs reach more than 1,000 children and families across Connecticut each year.
