NextGen Innovators, a nonprofit organization, is excited to announce the upcoming third installment of their groundbreaking Entrepreneurial Market. Formerly known as the Pop-Up Kids Market, this event is exclusively designed for kid and teen vendors, providing them a platform to showcase their creativity and business acumen.

Mark your calendars for Oct. 14, when the West Hartford Town Hall Parking Lot will transform into a vibrant marketplace from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Rain date: Oct. 15, 3-6 p.m.).

The Entrepreneurial Market serves as a launchpad for the youngest generation of innovators to bring their dreams to life. With an impressive track record, the last Pop-Up Kids Market, held on Oct. 15, 2022, in West Hartford’s Blue Back Square, exceeded all expectations. The event featured 80 young vendors and welcomed nearly 2,000 enthusiastic customers.

Founded by passionate West Hartford resident Laura Barash, NextGen Innovators is driven by the belief that young individuals possess innate curiosity and creativity. “I aim to inspire young minds to dream big and embrace their authentic entrepreneurial spirit,” said Barash. “Nurturing children’s skills and talents is paramount to their growth,” she added.

The response to NextGen Innovators’ call for applications has been overwhelming, and with the expanded venue, more vendor spaces are available than ever before. The event will encompass a diverse range of products including handmade jewelry, crocheted bags, delectable baked goods, captivating framed artwork, and so much more. This showcase promises to be a testament to the ingenuity and business ventures of these remarkable young talents.

This event stands as a powerful testament to the potential of young minds when provided with the right opportunities and encouragement. On Oct. 14, the Entrepreneurial Market will become a canvas for the aspirations of these budding entrepreneurs

NextGen Innovators will be accepting vendor applications for budding entrepreneurs, ages 8-18, until Sept. 29. To apply online, go to www.nextgeninnovators.net/apply.
