The Northwest Catholic Dramateurs will present the musical, “Once on this Island,” on Friday, April 24, 2015, and Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 2 p.m. The musical tells the story of Ti Moune, a peasant girl, who rescues a wealthy boy from the other side of the island, Daniel, with whom she falls in love. Unbeknownst to Ti Moune, the pompous gods who preside over the island make a bet with one another over which is stronger, love or death, the stakes being Ti Moune’s life.

The show features Lauren Mangine ’16 as Ti Moune, John Sullivan ’18 as Daniel, Alexandra Murillo ’15 as Asaka (Mother of the Earth), David Ogbonna ’17 as Agwe (God of Water), Olivia Fenton ’15 as Erzulie (Goddess of Love), Elijah Warner ’17 as Papa Ge (God of Death), Jacquelyn Collas ’16 as Mama Euralie and Anthony Lenczewski ’16 as Ton Ton Julian. The production is directed by Sara Avery, with choreography by Kate Morran.

Tickets are $12 and are available by visiting www.NorthwestCatholic.org/Island.
