NWC High School’s 50th Anniversary

The Hartford Marriot Downtown sizzled with excitement on March 31st, as Northwest Catholic High School celebrated its 50th Anniversary milestone!

After dinner, there was dancing to the live music of ‘Celebration’, as well as live and silent auctions.   Emcees for the event were Irene O’Connor (class of 1985), of WFSB Channel 3, and Brad Davis (alumni parent) of WDRC AM radio. Honorary Co-Chairs were Laura Connelly Allen (class of ’65) along with Richard M. Allen, Ned Guillet (class of ’69), Kathy Collagan Wentworth (class of ’65) and Ned Wentworth (class of ’65).

Northwest Catholic High School students come from 40 different towns in Greater Hartford and Western Massachusetts. Proceeds from the event go entirely toward endowed and annual scholarships, to ensure that all students, regardless of means, will have the opportunity to benefit from a rigorous faith-centered education.
