Monday was a night for celebration and recognition of the winners and runners-up in the 10th Annual Best of West Hartford contest – along with the inaugural “Dancing with WeHa Stars,” featuring local personalities competing on the dance floor.
Arthur Murray Dance Studios provided training for the dancers, and also treated the roughly 200 attendees to some lessons during the cocktails portion of the event, held at the Mandell JCC.
Eric Feeney, of Friends of Feeney, and his dance partner Zuly Rivera of Juniper Homecare were the winners of the dance competition, with Mayor Shari Cantor and her dance partner, Victor Gonzalez of NBT Bank taking second place. Jah Jones of Lewis Real Estate and dance partner Zoe Cramer of Sips and Sparks, and Dennis House of WTNH and Ronni Newton of We-Ha.com received honorable mentions.
Along with celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Best of West Hartford, the event marked:
- 95th Anniversary of the Jewish Ledger
- 25th Anniversary of West Hartford Magazine
- 10th Anniversary of we-ha.com
