The Department of Energy & Environmental Protection closed a portion of the Trout Brook Trail on June 6, 2016, while repairs are made to the concrete wall along the Trout Brook, from New Park Avenue to Quaker Lane South.

The section of the trail will remain closed for approximately two weeks, weather dependent, while DEEP does maintenance of the concrete retaining wall.

DEEP updates about the maintenance work are posted on www.ct.gov/deep/sbpr.
