Do you find that your dreams sometimes awaken you at night or take you by surprise by the twists and turns? Have you noticed a reoccurring dream?

On two upcoming Wednesday evenings, the Rev. Lee Ireland will lead a workshop she calls “Dreams and the Holy Spirit.”

Ireland, who is currently the interim pastor at the United Church of Chester (CT), studies the connection between our nighttime dreams and the work of God’s spirit in our subconscious lives. Her workshops can help you understand your dreams, and even use them to guide your waking actions and decisions so you might find a sense of purpose – and ultimately joy.

The two-part workshop takes place on Wednesday, Jan. 25 and Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in John P. Webster Library at First Church West Hartford, 12 South Main St., West Hartford, CT.

There is no fee for the workshop, but advance registration is encouraged by emailing Library Director Jennifer deSimas at: [email protected].

Free parking is available in the church parking lot, which is accessible from Farmington Avenue. Please use rotunda entrance in the rear of building and follow signs to the JPW Library via stairs or elevator.

If you have questions or need additional information, contact Library Director Jennifer deSimas 860-232-3893 or [email protected].
