Celebrity chef Tyler Anderson and chefs from restaurants in West Hartford and the surrounding area will host a multi-course dinner as a benefit for Foodshare on Sept. 9.

Renowned chefs from throughout the area will once again collaborate on a multi-course dinner in support of Foodshare.

Last year’s event raised more than $12,000 – providing for more than 30,000 meals for residents of Hartford and Tolland counties who are hungry or food insecure.

The second annual Eat.Drink.Give will be hosted by celebrity chef Tyler Anderson this year, and will be held at his flagship restaurant, Millwright’s Restaurant and Tavern in Simsbury, on Monday, Sept. 9, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Millwright’s, which has earned many accolades on a local and regional level, prides itself on purchasing and utilizing local, in-season ingredients.

Joining Anderson in preparing the dinner will be Niles Talbot and Kristin Eddy, also of Millwright’s, Prasad Chirnomula of Chef Prasad in New Canaan, Jeff Lizotte of Present Company in Tarrifville, and Billy Grant of Restaurant Bricco in West Hartford/Bricco Trattoria in Glastonbury.

A special wine pairing will accompany each course. See the PDF below for the menu.

Tickets to Eat.Drink.Give are $125, all in support of Foodshare. There will also be a silent auction.
