‘Sip and Shop’ in West Hartford To Benefit Voices of Hope

A West Hartford author will share her Holocaust survival story at the Oct. 29 event.

Join Irene L. Berman, author and Norwegian Holocaust child survivor, who will sell and sign her book, We Are Going to Pick Potatoes, Norway and the Holocaust, The Untold Story. 

Enjoy light bites and refreshments while you shop at J. McLaughlin, 981 Farmington Ave. in West Hartford Center, and 15 percent of all sales will benefit Voices of Hope, a non-profit Holocaust education organization whose mission is to foster a culture of courage and social action against hate, bigotry, intolerance and indifference.

The event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 2-6 p.m.
