BTC is thrilled to return to the Bushnell’s Maxwell M. & Ruth R. Belding Theater this spring with Artistic Director Stephanie Dattellas’ enchanting adaptation of Snow White. First premiered mid-pandemic, Dattellas reimagined the Brothers Grimm tale (with her own unique spin) as a full-length ballet for film in 2021 when faced with theater restrictions. Now, three years later, the company is excited to tackle the challenge of bringing this tale to life on The Bushnell stage.

BTC will present three public performances April 20-21, 2024, including one sensory-friendly performance, A Sensory-Friendly Ballet. Additionally, an abbreviated performance, A Children’s Ballet, will be presented on April 19, 2024 with tickets offered to local school students, including those served by Hartford Performs.

Student dancers involved in BTC’s Snow White will also be offered the unique opportunity to work alongside BTC’s company of professional dancers throughout the rehearsal process, and perform alongside renowned guest artists, further elevating this experience for young dancers of all ages!
