Third Annual Taste of Bishops Corner a Success in New West Hartford Venue

About 140 guests, sponsors, and chefs were right at home at the third annual Taste of Bishops Corner, held at The Underground on May 22, 2018.

The venue for Taste of Bishops Corner was its third in just as many years, and with space for live music all night long, it turned out to be the perfect setting to welcome guests on a chilly May evening for samples local hot food, cold ice cream sundaes, and wine.

Traditionally a “teens only” venue, The Underground was opened up for adults and families to enjoy the offerings by some new as well as some old favorites from Bishops Corner, including Ocho Café’s amazing pork tacos, Crown Market’s savory BBQ beef sliders, Harry’s Bishops Corner’s pizza (including gluten free), Moe’s Southwest Grill’s chips-n-salsa, and AbbyDabby’s brownie sundaes. Winham Wines had a variety of wine samples and guests were invited to order wine to be picked up at Harvey’s Wine and Liquors.
As an added treat, live music filled the air all night with the very talented individual singers: Connor Wallowitz, Mariah Roberto, and Triniti White. Music was coordinated by 6 Ravens Studio, in conjunction with West Hartford Youth Music Showcase (WHYMS).
Other displays and demonstrations provided by Arthur Murray Dance Studios, Massage Envy, Keating Agency, Intensive Education Academy, SDSS (Martial Arts) of West Hartford, Cruise Planners, SnapSeat Photo Booths, and others.
