Thousands Enjoy Halloween Stroll Through West Hartford Center And Blue Back Square

The sidewalks of West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square and the front lawn of West Hartford Town Hall were packed with thousands of costumed characters Saturday morning for the annual Moms & More Halloween Stroll.
On a sunny and warm morning, pint-sized ghosts and goblins, pumpkins and skeletons, super heroes, ghouls, and animated characters – and quite a few firefighters – strolled through West Hartford collecting candy from generous merchants. The West Hartford police and fire departments were also handing out treats, and there were also plenty of parents and other caregivers, and quite a few dogs decked out for the event.
In the courtyard of Blue Back Square, kids delightfully pounded on drums and danced to the live entertainment provided by Sunny Train.
Founded in 2001, Moms & More is a volunteer-run West Hartford-based parent organization designed to meet the needs of parents and children of West Hartford and the surrounding communities. The organization’s mission is to bring a small town atmosphere into a large city. More information about Moms & More can be found here.
