Two New Exhibits Opening at West Hartford Art League

The West Hartford Art League will host two new exhibits beginning Nov. 1.

The public is invited to the West Hartford Art League’s two galleries at 37 Buena Vista Rd. for two new exhibits opening Nov. 1.
“Out of Line” is a group exhibit featuring art by 22 multi-media artists who have studied through the years under instructor Dianne Zweig at the West Hartford Art League.
Their work showcases explorations in collage, mark-making and paint and highlights many different approaches to creating abstract art.
The show is on display in the Clubhouse Gallery. “Out of Line” participating artists include:

“Through the Tulle” will feature 22 selected costumes from Ballet Theatre Company’s past productions of The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Don Quixote.
Ballet Theatre Company of West Hartford is celebrating its 22nd season this year. This traveling exhibit has been dedicated to its talented “tutu makers” whose work has gone above and beyond the stitching of costumes to ensure Greater Hartford the highest quality of professional performances, education, and cultural experiences. The exhibit is on display in the Saltbox Gallery.
Both galleries, located at 37 Buena Vista Rd. in West Hartford, are open Thursday through Sunday from 1-4 p.m. The exhibits are on display from Nov. 1-22, and attendance is free and open to the public.
