Letters submitted by political candidates will be considered for publication up to 14 days prior to an election and most will be published within 48 hours of receipt. Letters that contain personal attacks or include profanity of any type will not be published. Rebuttals to letters should be submitted as a separate document if possible. Please provide your full name and town, as well as your phone number at the end of the letter. Phone numbers will not be published but are required in case verification is needed.

Please note that any election-related letter to the editor must be submitted by Sunday, Nov. 1 in order to be included in the newsletter on Monday, Nov. 2, which is the last one before election day. And please note that only one letter per person regarding the same candidate in the same race will be published.

I am proud to endorse Tiffani McGinnis as our next State Representative for the 18th District.

Tiffani has been a very involved member of the West Hartford Town Council. Her common sense and reasonable demeanor has served our community well. I am confident Tiffani will be an effective State Representative in the General Assembly. She will bring new ideas to the debate on the issues that will shape Connecticut’s future. More importantly, Tiffani will be a strong advocate for the Town of West Hartford, its residents, and business community.
