Does your child’s gaze focus on a screen for hours on a given day? The findings released in the new book “The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness” are making a huge impact.

Join lead researcher Zach Rausch, a West Hartford native and 2008 graduate of Solomon Schechter Day School, to learn more about the impact of technology on young minds and where we go from here.

The book talk will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024 from 7-8:30pm at Hall High School, 975 North Main Street, West Hartford. Registration is required HERE. There is a suggested donation of $18 to benefit the Solomon Schechter Scholarship Fund.

This program is hosted by Solomon Schechter in collaboration with many West Hartford organizations, including West Hartford Public Schools, West Hartford Public Library, West Hartford Community of Concern, the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford, Friendship Circle, the West Hartford School Readiness Council, and more.
