West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District Hosting Free COVID-Testing, Flu Clinic

InterCommunity Health Care is partnering with the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District to offer free COVID-19 testing on two more Tuesdays in November, and an additional flu clinic is scheduled for Nov. 19. [Flu clinic times updated]

Free COVID-19 testing for adults and children will be held in the upper parking lot of the Elmwood Community Center in West Hartford (enter via Burgoyne Street).
The PCR COVID-19 test will be administered by InterCommunity Health Care. There are no out-of-pocket costs, but please bring your insurance card.
No appointment is necessary. Everyone is welcome and pre-registration is not required.
Testing will be conducted from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on the following dates:
- Tuesday, Nov. 17
- Tuesday, Nov. 24

Flu Immunization Clinic
The West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District will hold a Public Flu Immunization Clinic on Thursday, Nov. 19, from 4-6 p.m. at Sedgwick Middle School, 128 Sedgwick Road.
The clinic will serve anyone age 4 and older. High dose vaccines will be available for residents age 65 years and older.
There is no out-of-pocket fee. Your insurance provider will be billed. Insurance that is accepted includes: Aetna, Anthem, ConnectiCare, CIGNA, Medicare Part B, Husky, and UHC/Oxford.
If you do not have insurance, there will be a $30 fee. Please make a check payable to: “West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District.”
Cash payment will be accepted, but exact change is requested. No credit cards will be accepted.
To receive a flu shot, please wear a mask, short sleeve shirt, and bring your own pen.
