Tickets are on sale for the Friday night’s live WHCi Comedy Night, hosted by BJ Quagnan at New Park Brewing, March 22, starting at 7 p.m.
On stage will be three of Connecticut’s funniest comedians – Stosh Mikita, Shawn Murray, and Dan Kalwhite.
All proceeds will benefit WHCi, your hometown station, now celebrating its 45th birthday. The ticket price is $30 for the evening and includes one drink.
BJ Quagnan, a longtime Friend of Feeney, will host this first-ever special in support of West Hartford Community Interactive, for the community, by the community
Stosh Mikita, a regularly-featured comedian in New England and NYC, has performed on WNPR’s Colin McEnroe Show, New York Comedy Club’s Roast Battle, Comedy Fight Club on the Gas Digital Network, and the inaugural Connecticut Comedy Festival. Mikita’s comedy combines observational humor, self-depreciation, and dark personal stories from an unusual upbringing.
Shawn Murray, a stand-up comedian, is described as “out of this world, except that he’s not green.”
Dan Kalwhite admits to having a good time with friends and Don Mattingly.
Every ticket helps support WHCi’s day-to-day operations, including coverage of the spring sports season starting April 1. Baseball, softball, outdoor track, lacrosse and volleyball are on the production schedule.
Tickets will be sold at the door, but it’s best to plan ahead.
