West Hartford Concert Will Raise Funds for Medical Aid to Haiti

Acclaimed soprano Rochelle Bard will perform Oct. 1 at a concert that is a fundraiser for West Hartford-based charity Medical Aid to Haiti (MATH).

On Sunday October 1, 2017, Rochelle Bard and her musical guests will perform musical highlights from all-time favorite movies such as The Sound of Music, Pretty Women, Sister Act, Pitch Perfect, Shawshank Redemption, Funny Girl, Babe, Life is Beautiful, and Shrek.

The concert, benefitting local non-profit Medical Aid to Haiti (MATH), is from 2:30-4 p.m. in the Rice Auditorium at Northwest Catholic High School, 29 Wampanoag Dr., West Hartford, CT.

Bard, a Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center soloist who has been described as an “exquisite and poignant” singing actress, will share the stage with soloists and local choral groups, including the children’s choir of the Church of St. Timothy. A reception with beverages will be held after the concert.

Tickets are $20, $10 seniors and students, $5 children under age 12, and free for children under 6.
