West Hartford Dog Park Coalition to Host ‘Understanding Your Dog’s Behavior’

A free event for dogs and their owners will be held on Saturday, June 3 at the West Hartford Dog Park.

The West Hartford Dog Park Coalition will he holding a free event, “Understanding Your Dog’s Behavior,” on Saturday, June 3, from 10 a.m. until noon.

Residents and their dogs are invited to come to the West Hartford Dog Park (100 Mayflower Street) on Saturday, June 3 to hear from a certified dog trainer on how to understand your dog’s behavior and learn tips to improve communication between you and your dog. West Hartford Animal Control officers will discuss their role and local dog regulations.

The rain date is Sunday, June 4.

Organizers from the West Hartford Dog Park Coalition, which is sponsoring the event, say they are looking forward to seeing lots of dog owners and their dogs.
