The West Hartford Food Pantry stock is extremely low on certain essential food items.

Organizers of the West Hartford Food Pantry have put out a plea for certain items that are in very short supply, and asking the  community to help out by picking up a few extras of these nonperishable items to donate.

The following items are needed:

  • Cereal
  • Rice (1 pound bags). Brown rice is welcome.
  • Peanut butter (16-18 oz. jars)
  • Baked beans. Vegetarian beans are welcome
  • Spaghetti
  • Shelf stable milk – 1%, 2%, and almond milk

Please check the expiration date as the Food Pantry cannot accept expired items.

Donations can be left on the carts in the Town Hall lobby, which is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p..m.

If you have any questions, or need assistance bringing in your donation, please call 860-561-7580.
