The West Hartford Garden Club is delighted to announce its eagerly awaited Spring Garden Tour, Secret Gardens Revealed scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 2024. This year’s event promises to be a captivating journey through some of the most stunning and meticulously cultivated gardens in our community.
West Hartford is a diverse town, culturally and in the makeup of our neighborhoods. The six gardens selected for our 2024 Secret Gardens Revealed showcase reflect that diversity. These gardens include unexpected plant combinations, rich in colour and texture … woodland gardens that demand shade loving plants … the use of sculpture and miniatures … a formal sunken garden with mature plantings … free-form pools with water-loving perennials – all six locations include an unexpected element that inspired our theme: “Secret Gardens Revealed.” We know you will enjoy the tour. We hope you will leave inspired with new ideas for your gardens.
Tickets went on sale April 15, 2024 and are available through May 27, 2024 at a cost of $20. Tickets can be purchased online here or in person at Moscarillo’s Garden Shoppe (2600 Albany Ave., West Hartford) or Butler Florist & Garden Center (416 Park Rd., West Hartford). Online tickets purchased can be redeemed for the physical program booklet and ticket on the day of the event at St. James’s Episcopal Church (1018 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford). The event will be held rain or shine, and is open to adults and children over 12. No pets please.
After May 27th, day-of-tour tickets will cost $25 and will only be available in person at St. James’s Episcopal Church on the date of our event, June 1, 2024. Along with ticket sales, there will be a plant sale, a tag sale and refreshments available throughout the day of the tour at St. James’s Episcopal Church.
