The Dionne twins put their magical touches and vision to work on 157 Hunter Dr. in West Hartford, and although their TV show won’t air until January, the house is on the market now.

West Hartford resident Cheyney Barrieau partnered with Christopher and Michael Dionne for a renovation of her 157 Hunter Dr. home that will be fully detailed for the world to see on a nationally-aired TV program in January.
And while Barrieau is not at liberty to speak about the process until the show airs, the house is on the market now so those who would like to see the final results can attend one of the open houses (Sept. 17 and Sept. 24, from 1-3 p.m.) being hosted by Berkshire Hathaway Realtor Becky Koladis.
One can guess that the stunning gourmet kitchen – which boasts white cabinetry and smoky blue subway tile, high-end appliances, and custom countertops – received plenty of attention from the Dionnes. The living room, dining room, and master bedroom also appear to include special touches.
The Dionne twins are native New Englanders, and although Michael now lives in Los Angeles, where parts of the show are filmed, Christopher lives in Old Lyme, CT. The duo is known for doing the renovation work themselves, and relying heavily on reclaimed and repurposed materials.
Barrieau’s three-bedroom, two-bath cape was built in 1952 and includes about 2,000 square feet of living space, plus a partially-finished basement, on a nearly half-acre lot.
Look for another story – including Barrieau’s “before” and “during” photos, and her reflections on the process – once the show airs in January 2018.
